Motivation

Just a few brief words to all those who, like me, are busying away in the library.

Although it feels awful now, you've just got to focus on why you're doing it. Why you took the course you're on. Where it's taking you.

For me, I'm studying for my final Law exams so that I can move to London and study some more Law! haha.

I picked this lyric from Madonna's song Jump. I find that it motivates me whilst I'm working. I feel like I just need to focus on these exams then I can leave Uni and get on with the rest of my life.

Good luck to everyone studying for exams, this torture will be worth it all in the end!

Much love,

Flares: Yes or No?

When I was younger I remember when the Skinny Jean first came into fashion, but I refused to buy a pair because "They won't last long".

Oh, how wrong I was!

Of course I own pairs of skinny jeans now, but at heart I am a Flares girl.
As a child I had an amazing pair of flares from Gap Kids with pink pom-poms dangling off the bottom. Lord knows I have tried to find a photo of these but I cannot find one ANYWHERE! What is Google/my parents playing at!?!?

Anyway, flares have crept in and out of the picture but the skinny jean is certainly still at the top of the pile.
Nevertheless, I still have a pair of flares which I like to wear, however, whenever I wear them I inevitably end up receiving comments about my jeans.

So, what are your thoughts on flares?

I love them but have difficulty pulling them off, I think. I worry that they will flap in the wind because they have so much excess fabric in comparison to the skinny jean!

So, to finish here are some photos of flares worn fabulously!

What do you think? Will you try the flare?

4 Products I Could Not Have Lived Without: March

Untitled #28

The end of March already?! I can't believe it!

Here's my list of 4 products that have been my 'go to' products during March...

1. M.U.A. Eyebrow Pencil, Blonde

I am not blessed with thick bushy eye brows. In fact, I'm barely blessed with eye brows at all. My mum is the same.

See, they would look much better something along the lines of these...

This photo is about a year and a half old, but it's a good close up of how fair my brows are.
Which is why I am so in love with my MUA Eye Brow Pencil.

2. Boots Soltan Beautiful Bronze, Medium to Dark

I've tried a few fake tans in my time, but for me nothing beats Boots own Soltan 'Beautiful Bronze'. Unfortunately it has recently gone up a few pounds in price, now at £9.99 - but still reasonable compared to what you can pay for tan.
I buy it in the medium-dark shade because I find that this makes it last longer as I only really need one layer to get a good colour on me.
Keep your eyes peeled for a full review of this product soon!

3. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable, Lovesick

I love this, so much! Honestly, it gives such a lovely pop of colour. Also, it lasts for ages and doesn't dry the lips out.
Although, it must be noted that I also have this in shade 'Cherish' and that does not last as long and it does make my lips a little dry.

4. Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream

I had a pretty bad cold a few weeks ago, and after blowing my nose hundreds of times it had suffered. It was a little, well, crispy.
But after no more than 2 days of applying my Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream, it was back to normal, and totally smooth!
I love this cream, and I have had this small tube for years. It should be a staple in everyone's makeup bag.

*** Those beady-eyed among you may have noticed that this month I have only listed 4 products, rather than 5. This is because I really couldn't think of an extra one and so didn't want to pick one just for the sake of it. I want to give you my honest opinions.

More Kelly Brook For New Look

I am a huge fan of the high street store New Look. It is good quality for a great price + their shoe ranges are fantastic!

Back in June I blogged about Kelly Brook's line for New Look and here I am doing it again!

The line still has quite a vintage feel and plays to emphasising a woman's curves.

I'm a little disappointed that there aren't as many pretty dresses as last time, but overall I like the look!

What do you think of the line?

April Wish List

Untitled #27

Oh-my-goodness! How. Is. It. April???
I am not very pleased about the arrival of April, for me April is all about revision and essays and more revision!
Plus, it means I will be away from the bf for a month.

But, the good news is that I get to be in my lovely home town of Bath.

Also, it means I can make my April wishlist!

1. Candles

In order to be super efficient and do great revision, a girl needs an even greater candle. They help me focus and relax, win, win!

2. Nail Polish, Blues!

For some reason I am mad for blue nail polish at the moment, but I don't have any! So, I would love to get a dark navy and a lush spring time blue! I especially love Essie's 'bikini so teeny'!

3. A trip to Paris

Hmm, okay this is a bit of a long shot. But, the bf and I have been discussing summer breaks and well, it doesn't get more romantic than Paris does it?!

4. Shampoo

I am super excited to try John Frieda's Volume Thickening shampoo because I have very fine hair that never wants to 'poof' up. Fingers crossed that this is the answer! What's more, it's in the 3 for 2 deal in Boots right now!!

5. Work Out Clothes

Who wouldn't want these teeny tiny shorts to play 'Blogilates' in?

The super toned legs come with them, right?

6. New Phone

Yes! My phone contract is almost up and I am looking forward to trying out the Nokia Lumia 800! It's pink, what's not to like?

7. Mascara

I am surprised that I have not heard more about this mascara - it sounds great! It is a mascara that has hints of colour to bring out the hues in your eyes. I'm not totally sure which colour I would go for as my eyes are a bit of a mix of grey, green and brown. But I am very excited about this!

What do you want to pick up this month?
