23 Days And Counting

I went into Topshop today and was blown away by how much great stock they have! Seriously, I do like Topshop but sometimes I think their clothes are a bit too ‘fashiony’ BUT everything I saw, I wanted!

Sadly, as I am a student, I am poor, like broke, until April 23rd when the next instalment of my loan shimmies into my bank account! So until then I would like it very much if you would indulge me in my fantasy shopping…sigh.

This would look well lush teamed with some denim shorts and wedges (durr, obvs!)

Supes cute skirt, a kick back to the 50's(?)

This is such a dreamy, summery top, sweet strap details too

This skirt, to me, is perfect.

I love a good tea dress, I like the interesting sheer detail at the bottom

If you haven't already noticed I'm quite a girly girl and am instantly drawn to sparkly things, like a moth to a flame. Some people would call it tacky but I think a dress like this, worn with the right hair and makeup could be a breath taking statement!

Also, though obviously not Topshop, I saw this great dress in Lipsy!
This dress is lovely, so feminine and romantic, I really like the appliqué flowers and sheer neckline, I think this dress is the perfect cross of sexy and sweet. Plus at £90 I don’t think that it’s extortionate considering it’s Lipsy.

What do you think of my fantasy selection? Have you been shopping recently? Please let me shop vicariously through you, what did you buy?

Bullring Trip

This weekend my best friend from my hometown Bath came to stay with me in Brum (that’s Birmingham)!

She arrived at the local station at about 10pm on Friday night so I had a bottle of rose chilling for us when she got here. We had a lovely evening chatting and catching up on the goss!

The following morning we made a slap up breakfast and then headed to New Street for shopping! First we headed to Primark where I bought two new scarves – not the practical kind that keep you warm, no that would be too sensible… but instead I bought two pretty scarves! One has skulls on it which is kinda a Stella knockoff and the other is an oversized leopard print with pink hearts which reminds me of the Loius Vuiton scarf!

In Brum I am very lucky to have a Forever 21 and it is literally impossible for me to go in there without buying something, seriously. Last week I bought two dresses and a shirt, and on Sat I bought a pair of earrings, shoes and a clutch bag! Gahhhm it’s ridic! But, as I always tell myself, it’s a very reasonably priced shop!

The shoes and bag were an absolute steal at under £20 for the shoes and £8 for the clutch. Especially as they both look like they come from Topshop or better! My only slight issue is that all my going out dresses are a variation of this pink/purple/red so it’s tricky to put them with an outfit, still it forces me to stop wearing so much of this colour!!

In the pics the shoes look a little scuffed because I've worn them on a couple of nights out since so I've popped up the photo of them on the website too, so you can see how beautiful they were when I first bought them!

Clothes Swap!

On Friday night we went out to one of the bigger clubs in Birmingham, Gatecrasher!
My housemate, Sophie, and I were both totally stumped as to what to wear as we’d both exhausted our ‘going out’ wardrobe over refreshers week.

What are two girls supposed to do in such situations?

Why, clothes swap of course!

At first I wasn’t really sure that it would work, I mean Sophie is a gorgeous tall blonde, with a muuuuch larger chest than me so I thought our styles wouldn’t suit each others’ shape and colourings but we both managed to find something and did a trade for the night!

Sophie, me and Sonya
Sophie is the absolute babe on the left, she may not look that tall there but I (in the middle) am wearing about 6inch heels whereas she is wearing flats!

I lent S my dress from Asos, I really love it although it's getting on for almost a year old now, and I am wearing an equally old dress of S' from Topshop!

(needless to say after seeing this photo we both reached for the fake tan!)

I've always loved clothes sharing, I remember doing it with my absolute bestie in 6th form and it's so much fun! It's like going on a major shopping spree without having to spend any money!
