A Fool For Tulle Two

You may remember that a few weeks ago I was lusting after tulle. If not you can take a peek, here.

Well folks, I think I may have found what I was looking for!

I bought this beauty on Ebay for £40, brand new with tags, so I considered it a good bargain! Although I really do not enjoy the pressure and stress of bidding on ebay!

I love the details of the dress...

Mmm, just look at all those layers!

A Fool For Tulle

For as long as I can remember I have been in awe of Carrie’s Versace Couture dress that she wears in Paris.

I just think that is breathtakingly beautiful.

A thousands of layers of delicate tulle, what could be more romantic!

Now that my Graduation Ball (Eek!) is on the horizon, I’m starting to look at dresses to wear to the big event.

In a dream world I would wear Carrie’s dress, but sadly I don’t think Versace or Couture are in the budget…damn.

There are some nice dresses with a nod to tulle and Carrie, but they don’t quite get it right for me…

Coast, £160

Lipsy at Asos, reduced to £66.50

Milano,com, £32.50

FreePeople.com, £444

The one exception is this almost sickly sweet dress which I would love to wear. But at £444 it is but a dream…

FreePeople.com

I love the sweetheart ballerina neckline and the dusty pink is the perfect hue.

However, all is not lost.

Lipsy's new V.I.P. spring range is promising!

£95

£100

£110
I only wish that they were in more delicate pastel colours. But, I think I will be keeping my eyes on these.

No harm in popping into town to try a few on is there!

Patience Is A Virtue

I spotted this panelled pink dress in Ted Baker months ago but was put off by the £130 price tag, I am a student afterall. But good things come to those who wait as I picked it up this week for £50! I'm planning on teaming it with Nude Heels, all I need to do now is find the perfect clutch and the outfit will be complete!

I really like this cut out detailed clutch, also from Ted Baker, but I'm not sure how I feel about paying twice as much for the clutch as I did for the dress...

...ahh well, maybe I'll just have to wait until next season when this baby will be in the sale.

What do you think? Have you seen any nice clutches recently?

Post Exams Dress

At the moment I'm revising for my second year Law exams, and it is dull, dull as mud - but worse.

So like any procrastinating Law student would do, I'm online looking for that dress to look amazing in for when I finish in a few weeks time.

Here's what I've whittled it down to so far:

TFNC, £35

They also do it the other way round

Asos, £20

Love, £36
I love these back straps

I think this one is my favourite, I would get it in black - this would look good I think with a tan (from a bottle obvs) and some waves in the hair and some cool jewellery.

What do you think? Are you revising/shopping at the moment? Have you found your post exams dress?
